Our Story

Forty years since they last played together, The Band Casino have a new album. Originally known as Tuesday, Casino started as a young band from the West Country in the 1970’s. Their single ‘Crazy’ went up the charts but a strike at the BBC meant they missed out on being on Top of the Pops. During eight years together, they went on to release an album and toured in the UK supporting some of the biggest acts of the day such as Steely Dan, Thin Lizzy, 10cc and Supertramp. In 1977, the band went their separate ways and although they all continued in various bands, it looked unlikely they would ever play together as Casino again. Peter O’Donnell continued to write songs and was keen for the band to add the magic of playing live. So back in the studio in 2017, the years disappeared and a new album of classic rock was born.
